The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso collection was born in 1931 in response to the demands of British officers and polo players stationed in India. They needed a watch that would not only protect the watch glass from breaking during polo matches, But also maintain elegance. To solve this problem, They came up with an ingenious structure that turned the case upside down to protect the dial. The name “Reverso” comes from the Latin word meaning “to turn over.”
