Spirit of Big Bang Frosted Carbon
Launched in 2014, The Spirit of Big Bang is a line that expands the brand's flagship Big Bang series into a tonneau (barrel-shaped) case. While retaining signature Big Bang design elements, Such as the six H-shaped screws on the bezel and the skeleton dial, The new case shape lends the collection its signature structural characteristics. The series has since expanded, Focusing on chronograph models, With around thirty references in a variety of materials and colors. Based on Hublot's "Art of Fusion" philosophy, The Spirit of Big Bang offers a new case configuration as an extension of the Big Bang collection. The Spirit of Big Bang Frosted Carbon was launched in 2025 alongside the Orange Ceramic model. 'Frosted Carbon' was first used in the Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon model released in 2019. Frosted Carbon is a composite material made by mixing carbon fibers with an epoxy resin matrix and fine glass particles. This mixture is compressed and processed in a manner similar to forged carbon, Then shaped using CNC machining to complete the characteristic frosted texture. Because the arrangement of the carbon fibers and glass particles varies each time during processing, Each watch has a unique pattern, And its lightness and durability make it an ideal material for sports watch cases. The case and bezel feature a combination of microblasted and polished finishes, While the dial features a skeletonized design. The chronograph function is displayed via sub-counters at 3 and 6 o'clock, While a running seconds (small seconds) indicator is located at 9 o'clock. A rectangular date window is located at 4 o'clock and is painted in the same color as the dial. All timepiece elements are designed to match the case color, Maintaining a monochrome composition while ensuring readability. The movement is the Zenith El Primero-based Caliber HUB4700, Which beats at 36, 000 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 50 hours.
