The tonneau-shaped case with hooded lugs is a characteristic that represents the design trends of Omega and the watch industry in the late 1960s and early 1970s, First introduced in 1969 with the Mark II, The inaugural model of the Mark series. Despite using a completely different case and movement, Omega maintained the same style of hour and minute hands as the original Moonwatch, And the dial clearly inherits the classic Speedmaster Professional. The Omega Speedmaster Mark IV is one of the most popular models in the Mark series.
