The Panerai Luminor collection began in 1949 with the development of ‘Luminor’, A safer and more efficient luminescent substance than the conventional radioactive radium. This innovation set a new standard for military divers’ watches for the Italian Navy, And in the 1950s it perfected its signature design with its unique crown protection device, Cushion-shaped case, Large Arabic numerals and baton hands.
The Panerai Luminor Base Logo (PAM01086) is a 44 mm stainless steel watch that perfectly encapsulates the brand's iconic design and technical excellence.
The simple black dial features Arabic numerals and indexes treated with green Super-LumiNova™ and an “OP” logo at 6 o’clock. The stainless steel case is perfectly matched with a dark brown scamosciato leather strap with beige stitching. A black rubber strap is also included.
The Panerai-manufactured P.6000 calibre is manually wound and offers a power reserve of 72 hours (3 days) and is water-resistant to 100 metres.
PAM01086 captures the hearts of watch lovers with its sophistication in simplicity. Its excellent readability and solid construction make it very practical for everyday use.
