At the SIHH 2019, IWC presented its new Top Gun collection and unveiled its new proprietary material, Ceratanium, For the first time in a Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph model. Among the new models released at the time were the Mojave Desert chronograph with its striking sand-coloured ceramic case and the Top Gun Automatic with its black ceramic case, The latter positioned as the entry point into the collection.
This model inherits the design language of IWC’s classic pilot’s watches, But also shows the brand’s direction in terms of technology by being equipped with the company’s in-house movement, Caliber 32110. The case is made of black ceramic, And the titanium case back is engraved with the Top Gun logo.
