Tudor Black Bay What do the numbers 54 and 58 mean?

Tudor's representative dive watch, Black Bay, is divided into Black Bay / Black Bay 54 / Black Bay 58 / Black Bay 31, 36, 39, 41, etc. First, the most basic model, the Black Bay, is equipped with a 41mm case and a burgundy/matte black aluminum rotating bezel.

The numbers on the reprint models Black Bay 54 and 58 do not indicate size, but can be understood as a reinterpretation of the model released in a certain year.
The Black Bay 54 is a Ref. released in 1954. Referring to 7922, it features Tudor's own caliber MT5400 mounted on a 37mm case. The Black Bay 58 is a lineup commemorating the Tudor diver's watch released in the 1950s, and is a Ref. It was named to commemorate the year 1958 when 7924 was released. A 39mm case is applied according to the proportions characteristic of the early 1950s model.

Lastly, the numbers 31/36/39/41 in Black Bay indicate the size. This collection is released in steel with a fixed bezel and a five-row link bracelet.
